Our editorial standard is to explain who a product might suit, what it costs when checked, and the trade-offs. A firsthand review should say how the product was used. Research-based guides should be clearly labelled. Affiliate links should be disclosed beside the recommendation, and paid placements should be labelled.
Firsthand means firsthand
Published reviews should say what was actually tried, how it was used and any relevant limitations. Research alone should never be presented as hands-on testing.
Money should be visible
When an article includes affiliate links, the disclosure should appear before or beside those links. Sponsored coverage and gifted products should be labelled clearly. An affiliate relationship should not be disguised as a neutral recommendation.
Details can change
Prices, availability and product specifications need dates and rechecking. If you spot an error or a recommendation that no longer holds up, please tell us.
